8 weeks to develop your English public speaking skills

You’re comfortable working with English and you have a message that you want to share, but somehow you don’t feel ready yet to offer to do that talk, send in your proposal to speak at a conference or tell your professional association that you’d like to offer a webinar. Maybe next month / next year … and that time somehow never comes around. Maybe it’s better to wait until you feel ready.

The problem with that strategy is that we never magically feel ready for new things or things that take us out of our comfort zone. There will always be a part of us that feels a bit unprepared or like the new bird flapping its wings when it leaves the nest for the first time because it hasn’t done that thing before.

But there are things that we can do to help us feel better equipped to share what we know, especially when we’re doing that in an additional language.

I’ve put together this programme for you if you want to find out what’s holding you back, identify what kind of public speaking will best work for you, and put in the ground work so you feel ready to take the next steps and start sharing your message in English.

What will we cover in the course?

I like to be transparent about how each of my programmes will be, so here’s a list of the session titles. However, these are one-to-one sessions, so they will also be personalised to suit your needs, wishes, challenges, and personality.

  1. Setting the scene – your message, your audience, and your challenges
  2. Your audience – what do they need from you – your style and making it relevant to the listeners
  3. Your voice – what is it telling people about you? How is it different from your voice in your first language?
  4. The fluency accuracy scale – what’s working for you and where do you need to adjust?
  5. Structure – keeping to the point, clarity, and the human touch
  6. Mindset – taking care of yourself before and during the presentation
  7. Listening to yourself – what can we learn?
  8. Pitching – Getting your message out
  9. What does the programme cost?

The programme costs £329, which covers the 8 1-hours sessions with me + some short, optional reflection activities for you to do between the sessions and online written support and feedback for the activities.

    What happens next?

If you’re interested in this programme, the next step is for us to have a 30-minute introduction meeting so that we can get to know each other, I can find out more about your situation, and we can make sure that the programme is the best option for you.

If you’d like to know more or book an introduction meeting, you can get in touch with me using my contact form:
